Album Art: Turn for Our

This project is an album art for Turn for Our, a local hardcore band in Seoul. The first image is what I originally suggested, and the second images what they chose instead.

Album Art: Turn for Our's Digital Single

Turn for Our is a hardcore band based in Seoul.

They wanted to release a digital single which had no title at the time.

After listening to their demos, I suggested naming it Recoil, with the following sketch:

But they wanted to name the album themselves so we had to throw this out.

I was like FINE.

I don't know how long I waited, but they told me the title would be

Step on the Bottom

Tried to persuade them with different names, but they decided on that name.

Here are some ideas I threw at them, with sketches that I can't seem to find at the moment:

1. A black and white photograph of a woman's feet walking up the staircase (very fetishy and hip so I wanted to go with this)

2. Just big texts all over (minimal af)

This is the final version. Earlier variations had different colors and alignments.

The bottom left L symbolizes a boot stepping over where squares used to be. L also stands for LOSERS lol

TFO folks were a good sport putting up with me.
